In the southern Amazon region, Zamoré Chinchipe, 180 farming families are organized in the APEOSAE association and cultivate a selection of national cocoa according to strictly defined harvest and post-harvest protocols.
Since 2018, they have been participating in a “deforestation-free” cocoa project.
